#2, I don't. I do remember seeing it in a ton of older magazines though. I started buying back issues of Motor Trend when I was around 8 or so.

Probably one of the most clever cars ads I've ever seen.
The absolute best car ad is the new VW one with the frame-by-frame lightning strick and in between 2 frames you see the car drive by. I can't remember what car it is for, but its hilarious.

150 grand? did a countach really cost that much back in the pre 2000 era?
i dont see why most ads dont use humor...that's the only thing that gets me to buy the product, plus it makes you feel better, which makes you more likely to buy it
