Description:
Bet you never heard of this one: 1988 Chevy Nova twin-cam. In 1988 Chevy decided to make it's reliable Corolla based sedan a little sportier, so they stuck the engine from the AE86 Corolla in it. Total production was 3300, all black.

On a related note, I saw my first twin-cam Nova today. And it was actually in good shape (most 80s Novas around here are beaters)

4AGE goodness. I'd love one of these with a 20V blacktop swap.

Y'know, from ~'85 to ~'92, GM really did some damn fine performance vehicles for that era. Admittedly, the bar wasn't very high, but, even now, I find myself in admiration of this, the Grand National/GNX, Syclone/Typhoon, ZR1, hell, even the 454 SS pickup didn't embarrass itself. It pre-Lightning'd the Lightning, and wasn't that far off the Lightning's original pace.

Doesn't hurt that I'm a fan of black cars in general.
