So OK, all I know for sure is that this car is a diesel version (ugly steelies and hood bulge). It can be a regular 131, a 131 Mirafiori or a 131 Supermirafiori :P
The 131 Supermirafioris had only DOHC powerlplants. I want a 4 door with the 2000cc engine. A little work (115hp stock... but this was very easy to "fix" and the car doesn't weight much), perhaps some Colotti parts, four disks from a 125, Weber carb(s) and I'd get a classic zippy Italian sedan, RWD, 5 speed and with wonderful carb sound... mmmm...
There was also a 131 Supermirafiori Volumetrico Abarth (gotta love Italian car names!) 2 door version with a supercharged 2.0. Oh, and 131 rally cars were t3h sh1t!

131's are now quite rare - most having succumbed to the dreaded tin worm.
<:(

#3, Yeah... so do I. Sounds almost as good as already mentioned Supermirafiori Volumetrico Abarth or Maserati Quattroporte Ottocilindri :P

I wish GM had cool names, My cavalier would be a Generalismo Motori econodeluxi Quattroporte quatrrocindri carbonara.

I like Japanese car name like Altima and Camry because they are japanese or english hybrids. Names like Civic, Accord, Soarer, and Cressida also rock because of weirdness

#8, They are ok. Firebird is pretty dope. Sunbird is fucking gay. Cavalier is the antithesis of the word cavalier. Impala is a good name.

That basically applies to a lot of Japanese cars, and even some domestic luxury cars.

WTF is an RL? TSX? RSX? TL? ES300? IS300? MKX? MKZ?

Pinto Squire. Two completely unrelated things that just go together and nobody thinks about it.

#12, I just imagined a knight, before a joust, yelling, "Fetch me ye vestments and other battle accoutrements for battle, Squire!" ...and a small horse running up with the gear in its mouth...

#11, Better that than made-up generic names that mean nothing and come off sounding like the names for a series of infectious diseases/nutritional deficiencies, Yaris, Prius, Routan, Tiguan

#14, But, you see, Tiguan is a combination of Tiger and Iguana and...

...oh dear, I dozed off a bit there.

#14, "That is a great question! The background on the Yaris name is actually really interesting. It stems from a goddess in Greek mythology, named CHARIS, who was a symbol of beauty and elegance. We put that together with the German expression of agreement, YA. We think the name symbolizes the car’s broad appeal in styling and really represents Toyota’s next generation of global cars. "

BEHOLD.
