Description:
Dodge LRT

interesting fact: This concept was shown in Detroit in 1990. It was only on display for one day and Bob Lutz had it pulled because it resembled the up-coming Dodge Ram a bit to closely.

That's pretty sweet. I knew Dodge was pretty racy in the early nineties but I didn't know they had something like this in the works.

Back in 93 Dodge showed a group of regular consumers a picture of the newly redesigned 94 Ram, out of about a hundred or so people 80 absolutely hated it, 5 thought it was okay, and the rest loved it. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

#6, I love it. Prolly cause I have one:p. No, actually, I have loved the looks ever since I was six years old I think. I saw one at the KC Auto Show in first grade and I took home the Dodge brochure and a Ram:The Rules Have Changed poster. Still have it to this day.

#8, I love it as well, the Ram is the best looking production truck on the road in my opinion. I've got a scale model of a 1500 series I built in second grade, it's got a tiny crack in the bed but I've still got it. Anyone who doesn't like that big rig styling is a moron.

#9, I love the styling just 'cause it's so "off the wall". The GM fullsizers look, IDK blandish, and the '97-'03 F Series looks like Ford took Grand Prix styling to a truck body. IMO neither is very impressive as far as styling goes.

#11, i like all the big trucks for styling, but ram just looks like a big rig

#12, indeed. Headlights look too smal compared to the grille IMO though.

#11, I remember the first time I saw the new ram. I begged my dad to buy it for a month. Too bad the prodcution models didn't look more like this, it's like something straight outta the road warrior. Check out the photoshops

#14, indeed. I really like the look of this concept, although the production version wasn't TOO toned down.

#15, It's like the kinda thing you see burst through a wall and then Arnold Schwarzenegger (spell check please) jumps out and hoses down a bunch of commies with hot lead, pulls the cigar out of his mouth and says "When you can't Dodge it, Ram it!"
