I'll take it, after I paint it red.

#1, Scratch that, keep it pink. One of the few pink things I'd drive without a gun to my head.

1956. Very cool.

Two-seater birds may seem trite to some, but they're classics for a reason.

#3, My not-caring about 1st-gen 'birds is really more because of Speed channel's coverage Barrett-Jackson than anything else.

"Yes, let's air every god damn auction of every god damn 1st-generation Thunderbird... oh, a '57 DeSoto Adventurer is coming up for auction? Now's a good time to cut to commercial, and let's not come back from commercial until the DeSoto is long gone and ANOTHER 1st-generation Thunderbird rolls onto the auction block!"

#4, I've noticed that, too.

I'm watching their coverage of last year's Barrett-Jackson right now, and they've only had one two-seater T-bird, though. Quite a few tri-five Chevys, though.

#4, I recall you mentioning that

Kinda like on the olympic opening ceremonies when they go to a commercial when some obscure country like Zimbabwe or something comes up

#6, No, that's not adequate enough of a comparison... it's like showing the American team enter the stadium 10 times in a row, then jumping to a commercial break when the Luxembourg team enters the stadium, then returning from commercial to show a replay of the American team entering the stadium again.

#10, Kind of unfairly perpetuates the stereotype that Americans don't know anything about the outside world - and that they are easily amused with empty flag-waving.
