#23, Hmmmm... interesting. How about a fastback?
#24, Yeah. I used them when driving hard (my hands seem to sweat a lot... n00b) but now I rarely do. Even if I manage to get my hands on the car keys I have a tight schedule. No time to take the longer, scenic curvy route. :( |

#34, Yeah. As well as the Alfa Romeo 155, last gen Lancia Delta, Lancia Kappa and probably some other cars as well.
Main characteristisc of Tipo platform were rigidity, decent lenght and width (it's bigger than the last gen Golf I think), big engine bay (Alfa Romeo managed to fit big 3.0 V6 there) and a modern, fully independent suspension. Cars made on that platform were wide and low, they were very stable but a bit understeery (long nose) and interiors were large even by today's standards. Actually, I don't know why Fiat killed that platform: after some work it could compete with new designs the world over. After the Tipo platform, Fiat slowly but surely slid into oblivion. |
