the wide panel gaps have a purpose

saturns have door panels made out of some kind of a plastic compound, which expand and contract with the changes in temperature...that's why the gaps are large, to allow for this


no dings or dents is worth it, tho

In fact - the Ion is the last Saturn to feature the Saturn hallmark - "dent-resistant polyimer pannels".
