as far as 8/16bit fighting games go, i think i used to play street fighter back in the days on my tandy game system (basically a nes)
hmm...what good fighting games are on the N64? *trying to think* i feel like playing one |

The best/easiest character was axel. All you had to do is punch a few times and do that running uppercut as a combo and the lifepoints of the enemy will be null.
Got disappointed when I found out about that combo. |

I used to be a sucker for these side-scrolling beat-em-up games. Final Fight and Rival Turf were my favorites.
They tried to revive the genre in the late '90s with a Playstation (and later N64) game called Fighting Force. It featured full 3D areas and limited-use firearms and explosives. Reviews were mixed, so I never did fool with it.
I would like to see another attempt at a 3D macho beat-em-up, though. |
