That is fucking gold! I wanna do this! I'd have a cobalt SS trunk on the other side of the room to match

They fit so perfectly.

Why'd he do this? did his STi get totalled or did he get a carbon fiber trunk or something?

The owner went with a wingless setup.

#7, He didn't have to take the WHOLE trunk off did he? Couldn't he just unbolt the wing?

He could unbolt it, but WRX owners say it's easier to swap trunks with other Imprezas. There are always lots of non-STi Impreza owners willing to swap trunks.

#9, Ahh, I would probably go with carbon fiber, paint it, and reuse my badges, but that's just me.

#10, you know... with the price of bloody carbon fiber, and the minimal weight loss it will give you, i think it would be a far better deal to buy a go-fast bolt on for that price instead.

#11, Well if price were an issue, I'd just leave it stock :P

Wow, finally a good use for a Subaru.... I use an old Caddy grille as a shelf backdrop for my models, in case anyone cares...maybe I'll post a pic of it sometime
