Separated at birth! The Buick Lucerne and the Volkswagen Phaeton.
...perhaps the question now is: who is the father? |

As much as it pleases me to see Buick shed it's granny car image, even ever so slightly, the resemblance to the Volkswagen is uncanny. Those companies don't even have anything to do with each other. |

#5, [nitpick]197hp[/nitpick]
All in all - I can only see a strong resemblance in the rear fascia (especally the tailights). The rear quarter window - however - is not as identical as you'd think. The Lucerne's quarter window curves back towards the front of the car while the Phaeton's traces a weak path to follow the C-pillar.

I'd say the general direction of Buick's styling has definitely become more European-influenced in recent years, at any rate. |

Am I the only one who thinks the resemblance goes no further than the tail lights?
#6, The Honda 2.7 made that much power. Then the 3.0 made 200. Now the 3.0 makes 240. The 3.5 makes 270 or 290. Not bad for a Honda. Feh.

Grumpy? No. A dick? Yes. :)
And I seem to remember the new SAE standards taking the RL down a peg to 290.

#18, I dont pay enough attention to Toyota to know. I think some Toyotas and Nissans actually gained a few horses after the change.. |
