I've gotten used to, and have come to kinda like, the Ram's new facelift.

#1, same here. They are really going back to the roots of Dodge trucks with this one. I really like the facelift, and the new trim packages. Bringing back the Sport option was a much-needed change IMHO. I also like how the are, again, available with a sliding rear window.

And the 06 half ton 20 inch wheels accually look good... unlike the chrome blobs of 02-05

#6, I was talking about the look in general. The Ram is a big truck. This picture, having no reference points, looks like a small truck. It looks good..until you realize its a big truck.

I like it, but I don't understand why they had to redesign it so quickly, I mean the 94s styling lasted 8 years!

#8, well, the 2002 redeisgn wasn't very well recieved among truck buyers. This styling respresents a better, more tough oriented look than the melty flabs of the 2002 model.

#9, I heard otherwise, but you would know better than me. Personally I like every generation of the Ram.

#10, I like the '94-'01 the best, the '06+ Ram, and probably the '73-'79 D Series trucks myself.

#10, really, what did you hear? It could be a variety of reasons, but Dodge did raise the price a tad too much IMHO.

#11, It won a Truck of the year 2002 from J.D. Power didn't it? And I know a lotta guys that would take a Ram over a Silverado, looks wise and performance wise. I think the 2002-2005s were good, but they had too many stupid versions of it, like the Rumble Bee and the Daytona. I think the 94-01s are my faves too, can't beat that big rig styling.

#13, True true. The main problem (at least till '02) were the trannies. The only other problem I have heard of as a routine situation is the steering wheel becoming dull and rubbery over time. I happen to like the Rumble Bee and Daytona, but it doesn't justify the price though.

#14, Yeah, my uncle's buddy had a 97 Ram with a fucked tranny, he bought an 03 after it and never had any complaints, except for when he got stuck muddin' in it. Heh...

#15, heh. I think my '98s about due for a new tranny. It's got roughly 97,000 on it and my mom said she might've detected a bit of slippage this morning. :-(
