I've seen this thing before. It was featured in, what else, a Truckin' magazine. It looked the same except it was sans front clip and bed. This is quite possibly the worst custom thing ever done to a Chevy.

#3, I may have seen this truck before, too -- at a Goodguys show (actually, that one might have been a '70; I don't remember). At least they were smart enough to hide that truck off in one corner of the show where not many people were looking at it.

#4, I know, I mean lowering these trucks two or three inches is cool, but if you're sticking the wheels into the engine compartment then it's been taken a step too far. Wouldn't the heat from the headers corode the rubber?

#6, For us, yes, we would take much pleasure in mocking him as the chrome on his expensive rims was scraped unmercifully away on the pavement after his rubber band tires were reduced to smoking puddles of bubbling black matter. Hell I'd even take pics of this event for all of us to enjoy!

#8, Indeed, it's not often I will the destruction of a 60-66 C10, but in this case I believe it would be a mercy killing.

#8, make sure that you're following so that you can run over his truck with your Ram after you're done laughing your ass off.

#10, I don't wanna ruin that truck. I'll use the '76 to flatten his ass.

#9, more than mercy. How can we make sure the rims aren't salvageable?

#12, I wonder how liquid nitrogen affects chrome...

The whole, rat rod/bling bling thing just doesn't work. If I was the owner I would simply put on some black matte paint, get some coker tires, chop the top 3 or so inches, drop it 4 inches all around, smooth and mould the bumpers, get some glass back exhausts and toss in a 454 with a 4 barrel Holley carb. But that's just little ole me...

#15, no cheetah. I'd rock it with red suede though.

A lot of lowering involves putting the wheels in the engine compartment. Seen a lexus with it.
Header / exhaust manifold heat is an issue. Proper engineering is required to make sure the tires are at proper distance.

I originally though this was just something to store the wheels. Didn't see the optima battery + comments.
