I think Toyota is TRYING to lose their best selling car status with the Camry.

The Camry has always been vanilla bland and inoffensive to suburbanites, hence its popularity. They should really reconsider giving it edgy styling.

It doesn't look bad, really, I was just musing that it doesn't look like one of the most boring cars on Earth.

Well, saw a new Camry for the first time on the road a couple of days ago... I've grown to accept the design... I still don't like it. I pine for the days when cars weren't all bulbous bloated tall slabsided monstrosities...

I'd take the blandest of the GM lineup before I ever set foot in one of these things.

#11, Wow. Toyota's low point won Motor Trend's 2007 Car of the Year Award. Looks like shit, drives like shit, but it's "the car all the others wish they could be".

Even the runner-up Cayman S? I think not.

#13, Motor trend's got Japanese dicks in their mouths, pardon the crude phrasing but it's become obvious that as long as import manufacturers keep squeezing out soulless kid-carriers that appeal to the throngs of brainless suburbanites, MT will give out awards like candy.

#13, The problem with Motor Trend is the "Car of the Year" has to be something redesigned in the last year. That held water when manufacturers redesigned their cars every year, 40-50 years ago, but it means next to nothing today. Christ, the Tundra won truck of the year, and that's probably the worst full-size pickup released in the last 20-30 years.
