The first gen was 53-55. 55 was the year they introduced the sbc and the vette almost died off. Then they changed the headlights and added a fuel injector in 56 I believe. Am I wrong?

#2, there was a slight facelift then. but other than what you said thats about it afaik.

#9, Excuse my poor choice of words, when I said gen I meant the original body styling
