#2, Yeah, I hate people that go ape shit over a few bugs or tiny scratches in their paint. I knew many a guy who would spend like 2 hours waxing their truck every other day, it's ridiculous...

#3, My dad is a prime example. He doesn't see why a vehicle shouldn't look/sound/smell/feel hell even taste brand fucking new ten years after it was bought. He will not get any closer than 10 yards to any car at any time, and rides the shoulder so that rocks won't hit his truck. If for some reason he scrapes his bumper or a rock hits his hood, he goes apeshit with wax and buffing.

#6, My dad's truck is a 99, and if you didn't know the years of the body styles, you would easily mistake it for a 2005.

#8, Like you wouldn't fucking believe... he gets pissed if we step into the grass before getting in, and vacuums it after any trip. His streering wheel still has the fucking gloss on it from the first day he bought it. He basically steers with his fingertips. beat that...

Someone asked me what year my car was after I washed it (hardcore washed, wax and all..only time my cars ever gotten such treatment :P) and was surprised it was a 92. "Wow, looked like a 96 or somethin, man!"

#11, Nobody believes mines a 95, they think more like 2000. They just about shit themselves when I tell them it was only $3150, which at the time, was about $500 under the book price

#12, I thought it was $4k and it's a 95? Damn nice for a 10 year old car.

#13, You gotta see the immaculate CarFax. 40,000 miles after 6 years. Used to be a showroom car for a dealer for the 2g body style from 94-96.

#17, What the fuck do they make them out of? Popsicle sticks and chewing gum!?

#18, both. I've heard the problem lies not in the tranny itself, but in the application. The trannies in the Rams date back to 1975 IIRC. Old tech meets new, and bigger and non-carbed engines? No.
