#1, The question got me curious, so I attempted to dig up any information on the car based on a few clues in the picture. I even tried a reserve image search. It seems that in 15 years, there is no trace of this car online. |

After nearly 18 years - investigators have given a name and a location of this car and where it was located.
Additional photographs taken at nearly the same time of the same car has show a windshield banner that reads 'Hot Road' - along with grille lettering that reads 'Monster'. The 'Hot Road Monster' bears a European-style license plate indicated showing Lithuanian registration numbers.

Additionally - the image files were located on a still active server in Finland. Their watermarks indicates that these photographs were taken to document the "X-treme Car Show 2005" of October 8th to 9th of that year.
If you know the whereabout of the 'Hot Road Monster' or have attended the X-treme Car Show of 2005 - you are urged contact the Helsinki traffic authorities at +358 295 417917.

#5, A lead!
Turns out "Hot Road" is a big car club in Lithuania, with a very diverse set of vehicles. Scrolling through their Facebook photo archive, members have several Skylines and Corvettes, S14 Nissans, tons of BMWs (especially E30s), several 1940s-1960s Cadillacs, Mustangs and Camaros of all years, a ricey-looking Z32 300ZX, a highly customized Fiat 126, a pro-Touring 1970 Challenger, a pretty nice Mark III Supra, and even a very clean 1971 Buick "boattail" Riviera.
Alas, no trace of this car to be found, though. |
