Well Maistro and Jada toys appear to be competing in the blinged out diecast area...

#1, yupp. :-(. Times are a changing. I remember when Jada used to offer $8 and $10 version of mildly customized Maistos at Auto Shows. |

#3, I used to see diecasts with torque thrust or budnik wheels, lowered ride heights and stock bodies. Those were pretty awesome but I kinda like the look Jadas going for with it's big time muscle collection. Moreso than this thing...
#2, That's pretty terrible, but it can be fixed

#9, Cool. I see a few diecasts at my local hobby shop, mostly Maistro and Jada Toys stuff, and maybe a couple of those large scale Hot Wheels diecasts, and even though they have a nice selection they overcharge by alot I've seen their $50 1:18 scale at department stores for 2/3 the price. Nothing up to GMP standards though. |
