Accords, when done right, can be a very sexy machine...

#2, I like CB7's myself, but not as much as the later models, espescially in the front end. But that's just me.

#3, I believe it's the CG4, or CG8 for the sedan

#5, Yeah, Accords were always good looking cars if stock or tastefully modified...

#7, Yup - 50 HP and 45 LB-FT more is all this car needs to blow the tranny.

#8, Thats why I quit looking at these, its about a 95% chance that if you have a V6 auto(I think all the V6s of this gen were auto) you will break the tranny whether the car has been babied or thrashed. I still think this gen are collectively the BEST looking Accords(esp. the coupe) though. The new gens look good to me, but have too many different styling elements from other cars and the bodylines look awkward, its like the rear and the front(on both the coupe and sedan) came from two different cars.

#13, The 4th gen CB7's are easily my favorite generation of Accord, followed closely by the 3rd gens. (gotta love the fliplights)... then the 2nd-gens... maybe the 1st and 5th gens are tied for fourth place in my book... then it's all downhill after that.

#14, These are the best looking to me, my fav overall generation would have to be the ones that came after these, the K24 in the 4 cyl coupe smoked the V6 versions of the gen in the pic and the V6 was pretty competent as well, in a well equipped Ex it feels luxury carish but the downfall is that the gen after this one still commands a hefty premium for lowmileage examples, it holds its value so well that comprable altimas, camrys, maximas even G35s from the same time frame are slightly cheaper

I quite like this gen of Accord sedans from a styling standpoint. Having ridden in a loaded 2000 EX 4-cyl owned by my friend's mom, though, the seats are awful and it has little to no highway passing power. I have no doubt that it's a great car for certain people, just not great for someone like me.

#16, And the V6 isn't too much better, from reading around both the 4 cyl and the 6 suffered from HORRIBLE gearing as well as faulty gearboxes

While I like the aesthetics of some Hondas, I still can't get past the fact that every Honda I've ridden in or driven:

- The seats are garbage... unsupportive and cheap-feeling
- The aesthetics for the driver's controls are completely wrong... most cars I've driven seem to have similar aesthetics and ergonomics for all of the controls and other stuff, but Hondas are just... different.

on a side note, did ANYONE buy V6 altimas from the last gen, they're as rare as seeing most of the obscure cars that are loved on here(I love some of em too admittedly)

#18, For the most part, Hondas are all I've ever driven, so maybe I'm so used to mediocrity I dont notice it :p, at least its betetr than the even MORE beigelike Impala or Camry
