The only cop car in Ottawa you can drive past at 100 over the limit that won't chase you. It can't leave this spot, lest the a-rab terr'ists exploit his abscene and bomb the Ottawa US embassy.

this was taken when Bush was in town, hence the roadblocks, coppers and no traffic in the heart downtown

I've only visited Windsor, and from the looks of it it was pretty nice, I didn't even get hassled whilst I walked the streets, drunk and looking to gamble away my paycheck.

When Bush was here in Halifax they closed the highway between the airport and the city so they motorcade couldn't get obstructed. Also they were flying though the city, we were on a corner watching them go by between classes. The limos were crazy huge and the SUVs full of fully armed guards was weird to see in Halifax.

#12, I am used to limos full of important people. I lived on Crichton in New Ediburgh. I don't think there is an Equivilant neighbourhood in any other modern western democracy. Upper middle class neighbourhood. Right down the street I lived on, the then Prime Minister would drive up and down the road. I wasn't uncommon to see a limo and 7 dark blue Caprices/Crown Vics' with single red sirens zooming down the street. Ten years later I ws driving through the neighbour hood but not one street down and almost ran over a former PM. This summer there was a murder 3 blocks from the Pm's and no one mentioned that fact. I bet if someone was killed 3 blocks from the white house (and they weren't black) it would make the news.
