I find myself strangely non-repulsed by this. It's about the sharpest Neon I've seen. But the wing's gotta go, and it would look better in a different color.

it kinda looks like the SRT4 Neon that they are planning to build int he next year or so. The SRT4 is to come 205hp and go 0-60 in about 6.5 not to bad for neon. It is also supposed to have alot of the designs from the viper on the dash. i know i know big deal but the Ricer that would be the coolest thing goin. either way it's lame IMO

you have to admit, as far as small cars go... that neon will be a factory burner! but, of course the factory one wont be as silly looking as this one

#8, When Rice or Not first came about in 2001...

V8s? RWD? in American sedans? Yeah, right.
Holden? Who the hell is Holden? It'd be nice to see a high-performance Holden for sale in America, but fat chance of that happening.
Lancer Evolution? WRX (let alone STi)? Really wish we got THOSE in America...
Corvettes will have fliplights for a long time to come...
Retro-Mustang? Is that some kind of one-off custom?
Diesel engines? Only in HD pickups and Golfs and Jettas.
Hatchbacks and wagons on the American market? Don't think we'll see those again, other than the Focus and Volvo here and there...
American convertibles? They're on the way out...

It's amazing how much the car industry can change in 5 years.

#11, yeah, no joke. I was reading an older Car and Driver, where they suspected the new for 2000 Ford Taurus SHO to have a bigger NA V8. I also remember when I was in London in 1999, there was talk (at least in Europe) of having the Mercury Cougar be sold as a Probe over there. My my things have changed.

#11, "what we knew"
#12, same thing here, too. The Chrysler 300M was supposed to be the 2nd gen Eagle Vision, also.

#11, - Now we're moving far away from V8s again, and FWD-biased AWD has become more prevalent, except for hold-out Chrysler.
- Oh God damn this one hurts. RIP Australian domestic car industry.
- Evo is completely gone worldwide, and the STI is a bloated, over-styled shell of its former self.
- Corvette no longer being Front-engined... the fact the mid-engined Vette finally happened. Wow.
- Mustang still sorta retro... maybe. Challenger took the title of "most-retro pony car"... and the Camaro... good GOD what happened there >_<
- Dieselgate... but on the bright side, half-ton trucks now all have available diesel engines.
- Hatchbacks and wagons have taken over the industry. Completely... only they have chunky fenders, raised suspensions and $5-15k tacked on their MSRPs.
- Aside from pony cars, American convertibles have vanished... also, retractable hardtops appear to have been simply a fad.
