Appears to be a base-level 1972 Challenger with a Rallye hood, '71-style R/T stripes without the R/T logo, and a 1970 Challenger T/A ducktail.

I'd sport it.

I love all E-bodies, and I WILL own one some day. Hopefully more than one.

My first one will probably be a '74 with a tired 318 and rat's nest wiring in about ten shades of primer in need of new quarter panels, but it'll be my first E-body, and I'll be damn proud to have it.

There was a 1970 Challenger for sale at a classic car dealership near old work. They were selling it for $6500 and I begged the guy to let me finance it, but since I didn't have a credit card it was no good. It was purple and had a 318 with 340 heads. It ran a little rough and was missing the passenger side door handle but other than that the body was in great shape. It was sold 2 weeks after I looked at it and I haven't been able to find another E body in that shape for that price since. *tear rolls down cheek*

I just think it sucks that you have to pay over $5000 for rough ones.

#6, I would've been happy to pay it, a little engine and chassis work and it would've been just as good as the ones I see in classified ads for twice as much

Sweet. Mine would never have a hemi, though. A hopped-up 340 would be perfect. What do I need with an extra 200 lbs on the front OVER a big block?

#8, Hemis have a lot more torque, for one thing.

#6, Well, a car like that is an investment and much more than just means of transportation.

#6, Cheapest old E-body out my way right now is $9500 for a crusty 440 auto '72 Challenger coupe with no interior in it.
