Yep. Facelifted. The W platform (Monte, Impala, Grand Prix, Lucerne) are on the deathbed after this year. GM has not released any info as for replacements.

#9, It's GM, they were probably just trying one last ditch attempt to move units off the lot by giving it a sleeker look and offering a beefier performance package, the W-body is officially coming off the line in 09.

#10, '08, spring '09 for rental fleets. And if by "beefier performance package" you mean dropping HP on the 5.3 to 298 then yes.
