#2, True, but the proper way to build a Fox wouldn't include one of those, either. :p

#7, I concur. Transplanting the SN95 interior was a decent piece of work, though. Shame the door panels don't (and can't) match.

#2, This is why you get an aluminum block and head and make that head a 4-valve unit :P THAT would be a nice 302

#6, What the fuck is "the proper way to build a Fox" ?? Can't everyone have it's own taste and imagination ?

He added size and weight and reduced his displacement and lower-end torque. Yeah. Real nice.

I was arguing with some Ford fan on a forum a couple of years ago, and after hammering into his head what unimpressive engines the modulars are, he countered with "Yeah, but they're the best Ford is making right now," to which I responded "Well, that seems like a real good reason not to build a modern Ford, doesn't it?"

This only reinforced my view that the only people who build these engines are the hardcore brand loyalists who would buy a turd wrapped up if it had a Ford emblem on it, or effete Motor Trend crowd who actually refer to them as "Cammers" and make a bragging point out of what's essentially their greatest flaw.
