Funny seeing what were disguised test mules for "future" vehicles that are now "previous generation" vehicles...

Man, the new one is so much nicer than this crude heap.

#4, The new one is also a European vehicle changed minimally for our market... so, yeah, stands a better chance of being a "better" car...

#5, Yeah I know. I'm just shocked at Ford's turnaround. Never thought I'd see the day.

#6, We definitely have Alan Mulally to thank for that... in terms of reading a market, and cutting through the bureaucratic and legacy bullshit to accomplish a turnaround, I'd rank him up there almost as high as Lee Iaccoca...

Looks like the jury is still out on Marchionne... GOD I want him to actually succeed with Chrysler's turnaround...

Honestly, with the new Cherokee, the Dart, the 200, and the refreshed Challenger, *AND* actual Alfas being sold stateside, I think he has.

Now only if they could work on those panel-gap and orange-peel issues.

#8, On the surface, yes, it looks like a turnaround, but I am disheartened to see that journalists and reviewers are finding "rough edges" under the surface of the new designs... insinuating that the cars are essentially being produced in a "Beta" mode, or, in their words, "unfinished"...

#9, Well that's what happens when you have greedy dealers who want cars "now." Same thing happened in 2005/2006 and 2007/2008 with the LX cars, the Nitro and the Liberty. Also. Fiat seems to have a problem with overstocking dealers to no end. Case in point. The Lawrence dealer has tons of unsold 2014s and 2015 cars. Yet the neighboring GM dealer keeps getting--and selling 2015s and 2016s on a regular basis.

Also, you want "Beta mode"? The software issues, and the whole 9spd fiasco.

And these have all disappeared here, or are rusty heaps by now.

#11, At my place of work, there are two of these in the employee parking lot... and I still see a handful of others out and about. Considering this is one of the most corrosive environments in the country, if not the world, it's a bit surprising.

#12, Here, they're in two conditions: old people-driven and damn near mint, or BAE-level, and driven accordingly.
