It's a V6 Mustang, they now use a 4.0-liter V6.

#2, Ah. I see. I wasn't aware they upped the V6. Learn something new every day :)

I like how Ford has just decided to use yet another truck engine for the base model, although they've ditched the Essex architecture. :p

#5, too lazy to google - is it the same 4.0 used in the ranger?

Yeah, I believe it's a Cologne family V6, which was used in the Explorer at some point. I'm not very impressed, although it apparently takes forced induction better than its specs would lead one to believe (still crappy head flow, cylinder head decks that look like Swiss cheese, etc.).

I'm not a fan. If the Mustang gets any bigger, they'll have to add another set of doors.

#12, *gets visions of the 1967 Thunderbird*

*retches*

I don't see why Ford can't just take the Miata architecture and create a new closed sports coupe on that. But what name would they use? I'm sure it'd sell well enough for a limited production sports car, seeing all the hype and sales of the GM Kappa cars.

That's a great-looking GT coupe. I don't care for the new one in the foreground, although I will submit it's been tastefully modified.
