Actually, in normal everyday driving, the McLaren F1 will get 17 mpg.

but who the hell uses an F1 for a daily driver? who has that kind of money that they actually NEED to do anything during the day?

#3, Rowan Atkinson drives his all over. I think he said in EVO that he has the highest mileage example existant.

edit: you can tell this is one of the experimentals because of the mirror placement.

#4, Now that you mention it, the image DOES look rather dated.

The McLaren F1 is quite a practical supercar. Due to its side-trunks, it actually has quite a good amount of storage space, and seating 3 people is always better than seating 2. Plus the aforementioned 17mpg when you aren't trying to see how quickly you can end your life (but even in that regard the F1 shines... it scored EXTREMELY high in government crash tests)

#5, there's a picture of a crash tested one in driving passion, and after a 35 mph crash headlong into a cement wall it was fine besides a smashed front bumper. seriously.
