Description:
The Bradley Fighting Vehicle.

A troop transport that can't carry troops, a reconnaissance vehicle that's too conspicuous to do reconnaissance, and a quasi-tank that has less armor than a snow-blower, but carries enough ammo to take out half of D.C.

Holy crap... so, the military is requesting proposals for a new line of troop carriers to replace the M113 (in use since 1960... still in use, actually)... one of them is a "turretless Bradley"... which, if you know anything about the Bradley's development, is hilariously ironic...

(The Bradley began its development life as a replacement for the M113, as a simple, turretless troop carrier... that is, until bureaucracy and crony-ism took hold http://youtu.be/aXQ2lO3ieBA )

Yay, Ret. Lt. Col. James Burton's original "Pentagon Wars" novel is back in print! I can finally pick up a copy for less than $300!

...if only Sled Driver would get a reprint...
