Sometime, I might get another type of aftermarket shifter to see if it self-centers any differently. I think the centering springs in my Pro 5.0 are a little soft.

You'd figure I'd be better at the 2-3 upshift since I don't even use first gear anymore, even on uphill starts. I always wondered what driving a rally car was like...

Im still using a stock Accord shifter. I dont think Im gonna bother with aftermarket cuz the throw is plenty short stock. Until I have a problem getting the shifter all the way into gear, I dont see the point.

#21, I haven't driven anything with a pro 5.0 but my triax is great about centering. you should try that whacky MG or whatever fully adjustable shifter though.

#22, Everything about shifting improved when I changed shifters, the throw reduction is minor compared to the other improvements.

The main improvement is shifter feel, not throw reduction.

Yeah, I'm thinking about getting an MGW sometime. That's a neat little piece.

The shifter linkage on my R5 is shit, so shifting is like yanking a corpse's arm.
Tipo is much better, the best feel however, was in my cousin's... 1200cc Lada 2107 o_O
