#3, What's wrong with a black hood? I'll be getting some black paint (preferably flat black) and giving my beater that old school motorsport look.

#4, Ricers do it to simulate having a carbon fiber hood. It's tacky.

#7, I can excuse it on a race car, a factory car, or a car built to look like either of the above. But just taking a street-driven Honda and painting the hood black looks goofy, especially when it's generally done to imitate equipment the car doesn't have.

#8, So, if I'll do it to my rally beater... that techincally is 100% stock... but gets hardly driven for other purposes than motorsport ones... will it be rice?
