I'm not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand I think it's the best looking of the lolretrolol "musclecars" but I don't think retro is the way the indusry need to be heading. You can maintain links to the past without trying to remake the past. I think the mustang is a good example of this, three lens tail lights and so forth.

#2, I agree 100%. I liked the previous generation Mustangs, for example, because they had C-scoops, trapezoidal grilles, 3-bar taillamps, and headlamps that vaguely evoked the design of the original in a couple ways. Did they look anything at all like a '65? Hell no. If you knew anything about Mustang heritage, was it enough to tie it all together? Hell yes.

I do like the Sniff Petrol line, "There's nothing quite as beautiful as no new ideas." (they said that line in regards to the new Lambo Miura concept, IIRC)
