#6, No idea. Mostyl vans/minivans: Renault, Citroen, VW, Ford... if it's a van/minivan, it has front quarter windows. |

#8, Actually - because the window from the door sil to the A-pliar can't fit inside the door when the window is down. To fix it - minimize the total amount of glass you can roll down. Whats left over - insead of putting a body pannel there - is instead filed with glass which cannot be opened - used to look out of - or manipulated in any way.
It's really quite useless. |

#8, But then again many cars with highly sloped windows do without front quarter windows... a fad? Additional pillar sure as hell doesn't improve visability. |
