Description:
An old matchbox Jeep Cherokee that I found outside today in the rocks, I imagine I must've left it out in the dirt once and forgot about it. I wonder how long it's been out there for?

This thing is currently undergoing restoratiom. I took it apart today and put the body in some paint stripper, and cleaned the plastic parts with detergent. You should have seen the dirt inside it! The wheels are currenty soaking in a water bottle with soap in it in hopes of making them able to move again.

I replaced the wheels with new ones as the axles were too rusted from all that time outside. I also found a non-rusted one of those thing that keeps the wheels attached to the chassis, so I used that. Sadly, the donor car died during the operation (It was just a cheap, beat-up 10 year old diecast, anyway. Gonna paint it bright silver.

I had this Cherokee (well, still have it in a box somewhere). Mine was purple with orange flames all over it, and all the plastic components were orange. Pretty ugly, but I always liked it for some reason.

#7, Sadly, I used up my black spraypaint :( But I might repaint it once I get some more, since brown doesn't really go with silver.

Oh, and I had to kill another MB Cherokee so I could use it's drivetrain (as this one's was too rusty)

And it was a newer one with a plastic chassic, so rust won't be a problem if this ever gets left outside again (not likely)
