Given that they'd been making them since 1908 and they didn't have a hell of a lot of competition at the time (there were a lot of car companies then, but few produced cars with the combined low price and drivability of the Model T), I'd say it's totally believable that they made 15 million of them.

#3, I think he was referring to how they knew it was the exact 15 millionth. I also find it funny how they supposedly built EXACTLY 15 million. T'was probably planned or a publicity stunt.

Undoubtedly they kept records of all the cars they built....any decent company does inventory.

#5, Yes, but with all the prototypes and one-offs and such, plus 15,000,000 is an awful big number to keep track of without the aid of computers.
