Looks like the center line of Bedford St during the 4th of July parade. |

Speaking of the billet craze, when I was out doing my combination "datalog the car/run for groceries" thing this morning, I got passed on the highway by an '01-02 V6 with shiny wheels, those smoked Altezza style taillamps, and chrome wiper blades. I think we need to start euthanizing people.
I mean, I've seen worse, but who the hell thinks shiny windshield wipers are a good idea?

#9, Ha! I defy you to think of a more styling way to wipe condensation off your windshield! :p
Seriously though, overzealous chrome and billet are among my top pet peeves with car customizing |

Going back to previous rants, the whole chrome/billet thing seems to be exceptionally popular in the pony car/muscle car community. There must be something about that audience that predisposes them to be fascinated by shiny things. |

I want those new rain-x wipers that make rain return from whence it came.
One of the mustang "free mods" is lowering the wipers to increase visibility somehow. |

#14, I personally have noticed it alot more with the Sport Truck and SUV crowd, I know that particular group has a great deal less brain cells. *runs* |

#15, The whole wiper arm body can be easily removed from the splined shaft it attaches to, so it's easy to rotate them by a spline or two.
Of course, if the wipers are really cutting into your visibility, you're too short to drive the car because there is no way in Hell the seat goes low enough to cause problems for a driver of normal height. :p

#19, The "big body" people like billet too for grilles and such. Seen a number of '98+ CVs on 20"+ with billet grilles. |
