nice. Where'd you get the S13? I've been looking for that one for awhile?

#2, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...em=300005600716

I wish that I could get some Jada ones to fill-out the collection (namely the black Lancer Evo III) But Jada's "1/64" scale is too freaking huge to "mesh" with these Tomica ones.

#3, ooh nice. I totally misread the description. I have the Jada ones. They're about the size of regular HWs if not a little bigger.

I also ordered a Tomica AE86 Panda Levin... that I plan on modifying slightly to match Wataru's forced-induction Levin.

#6, Uh, no. You're thinking of the Jada diecasts... these are Tomica... rarely will you see Tomica diecasts sold new in a mainstream store over here.

Oh, and all except Iketani's green S13 were in the same set... and actually very high-quality compared to other Tomica Initial D diecast sets... other sets I've seen have generic chrome-rimmed black wheels on the cars, and the "window" trim isn't painted...

The set I got, all the cars have the correct wheels as they appear in the series, and with the window trim painted, they look a bit more realistic...

I wish I had a shitload of money though... if I did, I'd be able to buy these two sets
http://www.manga.it/shop/dettagli.a...ce=mo-tomind001
http://toyeast.com/v3/pdtdetail.asp?pdt_id=AC3851

The first one because it contains the white Evo IV with the "MONSTOR" decal on the hood (dunno why, just love that car)... and the second one since it comes with a "high quality" version of Takumi's car, but with a white hood instead of black... in the first one, you can see what I mean by generic wheels and unpainted window trim...

Nevermind... screw that... http://home.pusan.ac.kr/~diablo/mai...D1/D_lancer.htm If it don't have the MONSTOR sticker on the hood, I don't want it :P

those wheels on that S13 remind me of classic majorette.

Much MUCH better picture of my Initial D Tomica collection, plus one more that's been added since (the AE86 Panda Levin... to represent Wataru's car)

#14, But that's not made in diecast form :( I really really would love to have that one if they made it though, as it would pretty much complete a set meant to cover 1st stage.

#15, What about the Celica GT4, for that matter? Tomica needs to get on that, damnit :P

Oh, and now I want to snag Battle Stage again. All the battles, none of the plotline :D

EDIT: and the blue MR2... And the Lancer Evos...

As in my earlier posts, you can see how I discussed the Evo diecasts.

...and yeah, I have EVERYTHING of the Initial D series on my Hard Drive... every episode of every series, the OVAs, and the 3rd Stage movie... well, I don't have the live-action movie, as I am avoiding that one big time. They fucked up my favorite character (Bunta) from what I've heard and read...

Well, now I no longer have to wonder... http://photo.ricecop.com/pics/jadatomica.jpg
Jada's diecasts are just a tad too large compared with the Tomicas to adequately "mesh" with my collection... the only reason I got this one was because it was only $3, and I wanted a diecast of a Lancer Evo anyway...

Well, I actually sold off most of my Initial D diecasts when I was jobless, now that I've got a good paying job, I'm working towards reacquiring them... with a few packages on the way, I should have every Initial D diecast Tomica ever released :P

...also considering getting some other Tomica sets, I already got a Seibu Keisatsu set for a very good price, and I'm on the lookout for a reasonbly-priced "Circuit no Okami" set... http://hellototomica.com/tomica/set0240.html

...I would like to get the Wangan Midnight set, but they're ludicrously overpriced, and the diecasts themselves aren't that impressive nor accurate to the series. Hell, for the price of a Wangan Midnight Tomica set, I could just order the AutoArt Devil Z...
