#1, Pontiac did that in MN with the Solstice. The dealers were asking MSRP + $5000 markup MINIMUM. Oh, and who the fuck markups up PAST the orginal price?

I almost bought a Mini Cooper S when they first came out, the dealer wanted a $5000 markup... I was ready to drive home, told hime I'd give hm $5K down that minute. Needless to say I didn't have my way and I walked. |

What's ridiculous about this is that they were supposed to be making these in pretty decent quantities.
Frankly, even at the MSRP of $45K, I can think of things I'd much rather have. |

I can't imagine some sucker actually paid 100k plus for one of those damn things. It would probably be worth all of $18,000 now, if that. |
