Description:
Well, there's a Scion in the family now. Sister traded in her 2000 Mazda MPV for this xB. Quite an impressive little vehicle actually... exceedingly roomy... but daaaaaaamn is it sloooooooooooooow.. and *I* KNOW slow cars.

If my car were brand new, I'm sure I'd win... she may have 10 more hp, but my car has 400lbs less weight...

But my car being brand new was 11 years and 160,000 miles ago... she'd probably win now.

#3, Yes, automatic. There are only 2 1/2 people in my family that can drive manual... my father, my grandfather, and I'm the half (only know how to shift motorcycles)

#7, Hm? I didn't say anything. ;)
Seriously, I'd probably get completely lost if I were to drive an automatic. o_O

#11, I was speechless when one of our Native Speakers from the uni (Bill from New Orleans) confessed to me that he has no problems getting the car moving but he can't learn to... shift. Er... come again?

Car's hit 100,000 miles... and my sister has decided that she's officially bored with it. Though, I'm guessing if she could get a brand NEW 1st-gen xB, she'd probably be happy with it...

But she's now looking at getting a lightly-used car to replace it... the most likely candidate appears to be a used Mercedes GLK. (She's not as strapped for cash as she was 8 years ago)...

Her April Fools Facebook post was that she got a 2007 B9 Tribeca... (though, admittedly, the post-facelift Tribeca is on her radar... her husband used to autocross a WRX)

#19, I think she wants something more refined... her husband drives a fully-loaded leather-clad Silverado, and he used to have an Escalade... I think the stark contrast is getting to her.
