#2, That's... not funny... I do have some respect for police officers... there are quite a few assholes on the force, but there are also many decent men and women wearing the badge.

#3, not where I grew up. But that's cool, I was just kidding around. I don't condone killing anyone, especially someone who most likely has a family.

bah there are bad cops with every force. I know Minneapolis police have a tendency to run red lights with their lights/sirens on, then turn them off after going through the intersection

#5, I call and report that whenever I see it. Of course it's a worthless gesture, but I still find satisfaction in bitching.

#6, indeed. Oh, I think Missouri cops are the worst. When I was down in Lawrence and we had just gotten my car, we were coming back, and there was an unmarked Crown Vic tailgating us. I moved over, and he did too, and he high beamed me. I slowed down more, and pulled onto the shoulder. He flew right past, and began tailgating a crotch rocket infront of me. The bik got over into the left lane, as did the cop (who was less than a foot from said bikes back tire). The cop then passed him in the median and immidiatedly did the same tailgate force over to another vehicle.

#6, Citizens arrest!

I don't really care for traffic cops, it seems to be the law enforcement equivalent of mcdonalds. Maybe I'm still bitter about that ticket for no proof of insurance I got when my proof of insurance burned in the car it was in.

Well I grew up on the south side of Chicago where our official motto is "fuck the police".

I only really hate university police. They're basically around for revenue production more than anything, and (at UCF, at least) a lot of them seem to be rejects who lack the intelligence or ability to cut it on a "real" police force.

#10, Thankfully our University police is far and few. Too bad we have nightly car break in/parking lot thefts.

Well, I'll just say... last time I was pulled over, it was a motorcycle cop... he let me go with a warning (would have been an almost $200 ticket) because I had not been pulled over by a Satellite Beach police officer before, and I had all my papers in order and ready immediately when he asked (I didn't have to dig for them)

...and he didn't even keep me waiting that long... time from putting my car in park and turning it off, to him getting back on his bike and me starting my car and putting it in drive was just over 5 minutes. Example of a nice officer.

The Indian Harbour Beach police officer I dealt with when I got a ticket when I had my Learner's Permit... that guy was an ass... the motorcycle cop in Melbourne that pulled me over was a nice guy though... and he didn't make the stop that long either... I think that one was under 15 minutes. (The IHBPD stop was almost 40)

...and I've had an IHB police car tailgate me like crazy for a few miles before... asshole.

#14, During the last semester I was at UCF, one of the local cops tailgated me all the way through the campus, from one end to the other, then peeled off when I finally hit one of the external roads. I suspect that he was trolling for business. Irritating.

The closest thing I've seen a non-university policeman do was around here (which is known to be a fairly high-enforcement area) where one of them put his cruiser right in my blind spot as I was getting onto one of the local highways. I must've bored him, too.

I think the reason that the SBPD officer didn't ticket me is because my licence lists me as BEING a Satellite Beach resident :D

SBPD is rather infamous for ticketing out-of-towners... one tourist critic said Satellite Beach should change its name to "Speedtrap by the Sea"

Oh, and IHB are notorious for being assholes to EVERYONE... have NEVER met a nice IHB police officer.
