#5, I thought it varried state to state, maybe with some america wide rules. My opinion was car stuff largely fell to the state. I know it's federal here. mostly. |

In PA, you can get a classic car lisence if the vehicle is 15 years old or older, and an antique if it's 25, that really cuts the red tape out, but it also caps yer usage, (not enforced actively, but why risk it?) |

#5, Yes, really. The hurdles you'd have importing a R33 Skyline, dont exist for say, a '70 GT-R, or an '81 Celica 2800XX |

#7, Ah cool. Our 15 years + to Antique would be a regular plate with the usual restrictions. I forget what antique is but I haven't seen an antique plate on a car newer than 1957. Maybe we Ontarians like to drive our cars as much as possible the 6 good months of the year. |

We have antique plates on the Deuce, and the rules say that you must limit your driving to "reasonable usage" which is defined as "Driving it only 1 day a week, excluding trips to and from shows, parades, or other such activities" We try to stay true to that, sometimes we may go out 2 times a week, but unless you make a habit out of being seen all the time, shouldn't be an issue, the registration is good for life, and never needs inspected, so nobody ever checks back on you. The hobby/collector crowd is pretty tame and the state has learned to just leave em' alone. |

In MS if your vehicle is over 25 years old, then you can get an antique car tag for it, period. |

#9, or just get a 1982 Celica Supra L-type for 2k instead of importing it. |

I'm a fan of cars being actually used so the mileage limit is a bad idea IMO. |
