Description:
1976 Mercury Cougar, these cars were tanks, I had an autmotive shope teacher with an Elite, which was the Ford version of this who was rear ended sometime in the early 90s by a brand new Buick, which had steam coming out of it and the hood was all crumpled and I believe had to be totaled. The only damage to his car however, was a bent licesence plate. They just don't make em like they used to. |

Friend of mine had the Thunderbird from the same gen as these. Can't remember exactly what year, 77 maybe. That thing had repairs done with duct tape and still ran well enough to be used as a daily driver. The 351 in it never had a major problem. |
