yeah I have done practice slalom runs in the parking lot to get the feel of it, and from what I have done so far, I want to make my barge of a wrong wheel driven anchor do decently well. :) |

#43, If it keeps understeering 'like a pig' you drive it the wrong way. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the car understeers just because you drive bad. But the point is to drive it in such a way to kill that understeer. Maybe you just need to enter corners slower, different cars require different driving techniques.
I drove Fiat Tipos for quite some time and they require you to brake deep into a corner, the understeer is really bad at speeds lower than 40-60kph. Then I got my Frog: it oversteered like a 911, revalved the shocks, it went away. Or so it seemed... first rally on slippery surface, deep trail braking, oversteer,(almost) rollover, end of that Frog. <:( |

#44, yeah, I know. It does understeer when pushed too hard, I know that. But, I am experiencing some inner-wheel spin (the wheel that's on the inside of the turn) getting out of corners. I have attributed it to the fact that my tires suck, and it was wet outside when I was doing this. |

#45, This + your car becomes lighter on the side you corner in, weight transfer ! Which makes the wheel on this side more vulnerable to spin uncontrolably (sp). |

I've always thought that if I ever tried autocrossing I'd look for an old Porsche 944. I don't know why I'm so fixated on that particular car for that particular purpose, but I am. |

#49, An MR2 for a daily driver ? Never ! 2 passenger and no cargo space would kill me. |

#51, My car is probably as heavy as yours and has about the same configuration. But I'm 100% sure mine handles a million times better. It's all about balance and tweakage :p |
