Description:
I have been trying to get this diecast for two years now, and I finally friggen' HAVE IT!

It was produced in VERY limited numbers as part of the 2002 "Racing Champions Motorsports" series...

Tim Flock's 1955 Chrysler C-300 stock car, with which he won both the Daytona Beach road race AND the Nascar championship for that year.

This is the only time his 1955 Chrysler was produced in diecast form... Team Caliber DID produce his #300-A 1956 Chrysler in diecast form, of which I also have, but it's just not the same http://photo.ricecop.com/pics/timflock56.jpg .

Interesting story about Tim Flock, he actually RETIRED from racing in 1954, after winning the '52 Championship with the Fabulous Hudson Hornet (I have a diecast of that car too ^_^ ), but Carl Kiekhaefer, who was fielding a "Super Team" for the '55 season sponsored by his company, Mercury Outboards, needed drivers to fill the seats of his numerous Hemi-powered Dodges and Chryslers... during qualifying for the 1955 Daytona Beach race, he found Tim sitting in the stands as a spectator, and made him an offer to drive... from the description, you can see what happened after that. Tim won the '56 Daytona Beach race too, in the 300-A Chrysler.

Sort of funny that it says "Mercury" on the side.

#3, That's why in '56 they switched the advertising to say "Kiekhaefer Outboards" with "Mercury" written in script much smaller on the rear fender.
