Ford and Chevy's HD offerings are so ostentatious I don't know what to think. But at least Ford got rid of the lame ass Power Stroke 6 liter and replaced it with a sequentially turboed 6.4 (with a new injector system) that spits out 350 horses at 3K rpms and a very making-up-for-my-small-dick 650 torque at 2K rpms. The Duramax equipped HD Chevy can't step to Ford's towing capacity, but it does make slightly more hp/torque. Since the emissions standars are so strict these days I'm suprised to be reading some of these numbers. |

#3, meanwhile, Dodge's look alrightish I guess. I guess I am out of the whole truck thing, since I realized they suck in city driving. I do like the '94 -'02 Rams/Cummins still, and the '99-'06 Supierduty remain a favorite of mine.

Chevy: trying to look badass but looks like shit
Ford: just plain ugly IMHO. |

Meh, Chevy's truck styling really hasn't taken any strides since the mid eigthies, this gen looks almost like it's taken a step back. As for Ford's styling, like Chevy, I don't feel strongly for it one way or another. Looks are one thing but when it comes to buying something with such sheer utility (for lack of a better word) I think performace is a much more important factor. I like big trucks and I cannot lie, I'd gladly drive all three of the big 3's offerings. At least until imports start offering HD lineups.

#7, Tundra. I like the new Tacomas too, as well as the Frontiers. I still love trucks, but just not in a "gotta have another one" way, y'know? |

#7, I agree a Truck should perform first and then look second, but god damn this is just a fucking shitty design. It's just awkward as fuck. It lacks continuity. It just scream "we let the new get drunk and design a truck" |

#8, I know what you mean, everyone's gotta have two more metric tons of towing capacity than the competition or get slightly better torque response at low rpms, or have embroidered leather seats. Jesus, just drive the damn thing, it's not a fashion statement!
#9 It's ugly, almost so much so that you can't help but give it a second glance if you happened to see it roaring down the street. As if you couldn't help but think, no way that hunk of chrome and steel could possibly be a truck! But you know people will buy it.

#10, which is why I am content with the vehicles I have. I don't want nor need a bigass truck in a city nieghborhood. |

#12, That's exactly what I'm saying. Come to think of it I can't think of any big landscaping or construction company that doesn't employ solely Domestic built trucks. Nissan and Toyota are hardly afterthoughts.
#13, I'm a lifelong Chevy fan so more eyes drawn to my grille the better |

#15, Hahaha, I'm more taken with the grille. It looks so damn big I think it could have it's own congressmen. |
