1995 Mitsubishi Mirage coupe S
156,300 miles
Automatic transmission, power steering, air condition, dual air bags. Fair condition.

Trade-in Value: $620.
Private Party: $1250.

Not bad considering I paid $1095 for it almost 3 years and 20,000 miles ago.

1985 Pontiac 6000 STE
171,000+ miles
Automatic, power steering, A/C, sunroof, electronic ride control (dead), leather-wrapped steering wheel, alloys. It's one of the loudest cars in my town and still handles better than many new cars.
Fair condition (dull paint, some dents).

Trade-in Value: $420
Private Party: $800

That's sad.
KBB doesn't even go to '85 anymore so I had to use an '86 ... makes me wonder if my car is worth even less :(

The value of my car has actually gone UP since I last checked, and I'm not surprised... the price of used economical compact cars has gone up everywhere I've looked.

$5 and some pocket lint.

More seriously, $9345 trade-in, $10780 private party for an unmolested vehicle with same mileage/condition. In its current state, I doubt anyone would be that crazy.

Mines like 3125 private party. I check it all the time. I paid 3150 for it, and I know i can get about $4000 out of it, the condition is still like new, and I've done a lot to it.

Modification rarely increases a vehicle's sale value; in many cases it's a bad thing.

$10,465 retail wow, chevy was selling cavalier for less than this in 2003. I'd call it 10K cause well that's what they actually go for here (same options and year). Mine has only 250001 KM's on it

19620 for the Altima, probably could get 18,5

#12, Ah. That can't hurt. A lot has been done to the Rustang, too, but I don't think that is going to work in my favor. :p

I'll have to wait till tommorow. I have no idea how many miles my brother's car has and he doesn't remember either. Also, you have to start the car to find out since it has a digital speedo. I do know it has no options and the interoir is a mess with crap strewn about everwhere.

2,270 Private Party
3,245 pp using the engines mileage
3,500-4,500 is the usual going price for an h22 Accord, so kbb doesnt mean much to me.
