Whoa... I saw one of these in SF the other day, identical to this one but with no rust. It was practically getting pushed down the street by a Town Car. Those stupid little things do get around...

#5, Not very dignified for either vehicle but certainly interesting to watch.

The 2CV is on my wish list. They just seem like they'd be über amusing to drive around.

I've always had visions of a primered Citroen 2CV hot rod, done in traditional style with tuck&roll, chopping, channeling, maybe fenderless, with some sort of oddball powerplant...maybe a chromed-out MGB motor.

I don't know why I thought of that just now.

#11, If it'd fit, sure. I'm thinking of their small engine compartments.

Also, something with a downdraft carb would probably be the coolest....I just have a mental image of a little chromed, frisbee-like air cleaner perched atop the motor, detailed SoCal speed shop style. >:)

#10, for the body, I'd go with smooth flat black with red pinstriping and red steelies. and maybe chrome headlights and chrome taillights with a straight up exhaust somewhat like a Beetle.

For a hot rod it'd just about have to be a Harley motor.
