I'm imagining the headlights strobing/flashing, and Sheriff John Bunnell walking in from off-camera to deliver an opening exposition to tonight's episode of World's Wildest Police Videos.

#3, "I'm Sheriff John Bunnell. In my 150,000 years of LAH enforcement, I've seen the same thing, year after year: STUPID criminals, and the brace, sexy LAH enforcement officers that bring them to justice. Over the next hour, I'm going to show you shootouts, car chases, and blatant rationalizations for overt police misconduct. So grab a body bag, and strap yourself in. Because life happens...in the BLINK of a HEARTBEAT!"

#4, I try not to assume others' political stances, but am surprised to see such borderline ACAB language. ...not that I disagree with that sentiment, mind you.

coincidentally, I was just watching one of the episodes on Youtube via Filmrise, and yeah that statement is pretty spot-on.

#6, Admittedly, they've been popping up in my feed, and I've watched an episode or two in the past month or so.

#5, I don't really identify fully with the anti-police crowd, but I do support increased police accountability, and I can typically see through pro-police propaganda, which is what that show very frequently was.

#9, That's where I stand, too.

#9, The accountability issue is the driving force behind my overall negative opinion on police forces in general. Police unions and their simps are working harder and harder every year to ensure police officers never face consequences for incompetence and wanton bruality.

Mind you, I speak as a former employee of a law enforcement agency. At that point in my life, I was fully supportive of police and thought detractors were the flawed ones and ungrateful. However, since leaving that field, seeing the massive amount of examples of police heavily abusing their authority, even gleefully reveling in those actions, and some personal experiences/encounters with law enforcement in the past decade... yeah, I'm on the ACAB wagon.
