Doesn't look good. I wonder if they'll release a Spec-V version of that thing.

Not bad little cars; not terribly exciting, either. Sister had one before her GLK, and I didn't mind it.

My experience with Sentras has been far different... Nissan desperately tries to make them *look* upscale, bloat up their dimensions a bit, but then build them down to a price by cheapening out on engineering, components, and materials... In my mind, I group it along with post-'80s Corollas as very cynical attempts at building an economy car for the American market...

#18, That principle extends to their whole lineup, Infiniti included. I like them fine, and I see why people buy them, but in my experience, the build quality is adequate at best, reliability is decent, and the styling is what draws people in. Complete opposite of, say, Honda or Toyota, IMO.

#19, The latest Nissan lineup... I look at the new Murano and Maxima... yes, on the surface, the styling looks bonkers and 10-minutes-into-the-future... but it's all smoke and mirrors. It's just funky lighting bezels, unnecessary body creases, and shiny black trim that's supposed to look like glass. (Toyota has also been infected by the latter... I'm looking at you, Camry.)

I am so heavily biased, but I love the way my car looks... aside from the refreshed fascia with the evil smiling grille, there's nothing pointless nor unnecessary in the styling, but it still looks damned good.
