Hey, let's sell American Motors cars in Germany! That'll fly for sure. They couldn't sell AMC products in the US, I bet they crashed and burned in Germany too. AMC's finest moment was probably when they scraped together enough cash to sponsor The Man With the Golden Gun. (I still love that red Hornet Bond drove)
