Description: Evidence of flagrant mod abuse, exhibit A: new member KEFIR deleted for seemingly no other reason than average grammar. This will surely have me banned but I'm tired of this tyrannical behavior by who I suspect is a lone agent.

#31, Oh, so the "lone agent" you mentioned, you didn't mean any mod in particular, you were just referring to the one that did the moderation this time around. I can assure you, here on RoN, us mods have a way of communicating with each other and almost never individually do something like this unilaterally... it's usually a consensus or discussion and whatnot.

exactly. lets not adopt the NYPD attitude of "shoot now, identify victim later" for all new members. i'd like some new members to join in - preferably stupid ones a la Za, Munkee, etc so we can laugh at them as they entertain us. #40, I think the point that's being missed in all these posts is that the "new" person in this case was a troll, and the mods had ways of finding this out, do you honestly think they'd ban a new person for no reason at all?

#53, I honestly do not recall or remember any time where his posts were edited. Yes, I did nuke his comments in the Anime thread since they were blatant trolling, but that's as far as I've ever gone in terms of his posts.

I haven't seen all of the guy's posts from tonight, but I saw his posts on my pics (the edited comment you have as an example was posted on one of my pics). I don't know what the beef is with him, because I've been away from RoN for a good chunk of the evening and haven't seen what transpired during that time. The only suspicious activity I've heard of is some questionable comments on the pistachio green Sidekick I posted earlier. Like a number of us have said, it's hard to feel like an established member if post editing and stuff like this happens for seemingly trivial reasons (to me). I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, hell, I almost got muzzled myself for my behavior when I was a n00b here. If the guy really was a previously banned member or actually being a jerk, then fine, ban him. I guess I just haven't looked hard enough to see the evidence against him.
