Here's the story: a Mazda RX-8 ran a red light and collided with a new 997 Cabriolet while I was waiting to cross the street. The 997 had a green light. Both cars tried to stop in time to avoid the crash but couldn't. The only visible damage to the RX-8 was a cracked front fascia, but the Porsche will need a new fender and driver's door. I got several photos from different angles - I'm pretty sure I have the only pictures of this.

#2, Everyone does. If it had been as bad as you expected, keep in mind that I was standing right where the debris and probably one of the cars would have flown had either vehicle being going any faster.
